Young Adults

Want to work at a national park? It’s time to explore and discover something new about yourself! And maybe even find a future career. Many of the developmental opportunities and jobs for people ages 18-30 years old and veterans up to 35 years old are filled at the park level, so contact the park that interests you with questions. Others are advertised and recruited nationally by the National Park Service or in partnership with youth and veteran-serving organizations.

Here are just a few opportunities for you with the National Park Service:

  • Service Corps opportunities
  • Federal and non-federal paid internships
  • Paid fellowships
  • Jobs
  • Volunteer opportunities
